Class Descriptions for July / August 2010

Album Embossing – Let Jen Zorn custom emboss your scrapbook album while you shop.

She will be available Saturday August 28th from 10am-12pm.

Drop by during this time, no appointment needed. Pricing information is available in the store.

You can also drop off Albums, anytime at the store and Jen will call you when they are ready to pick up.

We Do Private Parties . . .

Birthday parties, Scout Troops, Community Organizations . . . We can create a private class to fit your group!

Classes for Children: Children must bring their own adhesive to class or a glue stick will added to their tab.

My Own Scrapbook for Kids- July 25th 1-2:30pm and August 29^th 1-2:30pm

Kids can scrapbook too . . . Carrie will show them how! Kids will create TWO 2-page layouts in class.

July -We'll create a layouts for pool/water splash fests and general Summer fun!

August- We'll create a vacation/road trip layout and one for back to school.

Kids ages 5 & up (Parents may be asked stay to help children ages 5-7.)

Class minimum: 5 Class Limit: 12 Registration Deadline: Sat. July 17^th and Sat. August 21st

Please note: 12 x 12 will be the only offered page size. Cost: 12x12 $21.50

Please bring adhesive, paper trimmer, black pen and scissors unless noted otherwise.

Class Registration Deadlines are 3 days prior to the class start date and require a 3 person minimum.

Cricut Design Studio Basics Class- 7/13 6:30-8pm and 8/12 6:30-8pm Cost: $20

You have been asking and it's finally here! Learn the basics plus helpful tips and tricks for Design Studio.

This will include how to weld (connect) letters and create shadows with your Cricut Cartridges on your computer. If you have Design Studio on a lap top computer please bring it. You do not need to own Design Studio to take this class. Come and see if this computer program would be helpful to you.

Cricut 101 (Beginners)- 7/11 & 8/28 both from 2-4pm, Cost: $20

If you own a Cricut or are thinking about buying one this is the class for you! Join Nancy as we explore similarities and differences between: GEORGE, PLANTIN SCHOOLBOOK, DON JUAN, JASIME, BASE CAMP, OPPOSITES ATTRACT and HANNAH MONTANA Font Cartridges. Learn helpful tips and tricks, and view actual scrapbook pages as well. (You do not need to own all of these cartridges for this class to be helpful.) Bring your questions and a scrapbook page needing a title, we will create one at the end of class. Bring your Cricut, a mat and any font cartridges. Cost: $20.00 *Expression users bring Plantin Schoolbook, End Cap feature will be demonstrated

Advanced Cricut- 7/24 2-4pm, Cost: $20

Want to do MORE with your Cricut? Learn how to create 3-D Flowers. How to cut and install vinyl to your walls.

Etch Glass, create custom wall and t-shirt stencils, cut fabric and more . . .

Bring your Cricut, the font cartridge that came with your machine and a mat to class.

You will cut vinyl and make a 3-D flower in class.

You must be very comfortable with your Cricut or have taken Cricut 101 before taking this class.

Cricut Paper Dolls Exploration Class- 6:30-7:30 pm Cost: $15

Come and let Megan show you all the great things you can create with the Paper Dolls Cartridge. You do not need the cartridge to attend the class. Learn what is on the cartridge and then what new and unique things not shown in the handbook that you can create. Please bring your booklet if you own the cartridge.

Scrapbook Basics- 7/20 1-3pm & 8/22 2-4pm Cost: $15

New to Scrapbooking? 4-6 items are all you need to start. Join Jane for an informative discussion of the basics for starting your 1^st scrapbook. Bring your questions and 4-6 photos from one event to match with cardstock.
